Matt is 19 and joined the band taking up the seat of Solo Eb bass since the beginning of 2010.
He left the Camborne 'B' and Youth bands where he played BBb bass until the end of 2009 after playing with them for just over 6 years. In this time he took part in 6 National youth Championships in which the band won them all and also a national finals with the band at Harrogate. Matt is also currently playing with the Cornwall Youth Brass Band where he is still playing BBb bass. His Favorite piece of music is The Lincolnshire Poacher and his favourite Bass solo is Frosty the Snowman (Shame he only plays it twice a year)!
He is currently an Eletrical apprentice and is looking forward to the challange of solo Eb bass.

Shaun Jenkin

Shaun joined the band on leaving the Army in 1986 and is one of the band's longest serving members. He started his banding with Gwennap Band (who then went on to become City of Truro Band) and the St Keverne Band before choosing to become a full time musician in the forces. He now works for the civil service (I use the term 'works' very loosely) and is married to his long suffering wife Debbie, to whom we send our sympathy. His favourite piece of music is Olympic Fanfare and Theme. He says to avoid Leeds United Fans (oops sorry shaun, I misread what you wrote) He says he is an avid Leeds United Fan. Shauns plans for the future are to win the lottery and retire.

BBb Bass

Janina Kuzniar.

Nina joined the band in 2007 with her partner Colin (then MD). Her playing history includes Loughborough Town, St Columb Town and Newquay Town Bands. Her most memorable banding moment was meeting Colin. During the day Nina is a support worker for adults with learning disabilities. Her favourite piece of music is Riverdance. Nina comments ' having played for several bands over the years, I would like to add that Lanner are one of the most sociable and friendly bands that I have been involved with'. Nina's hobbies include traveling and dancing.
