1st Horn

Nicola Dickey

Nicola joined the band at the beginning of 2008 after a break of almost 15 years. She previously played for Stythians, Wendron and the Cornwall Youth Brass Band. Nicola is a hairdresser by trade and lives with her husband Paul and son Elliot. She is really enjoying being back in the banding world with the added bonus of the band socials. Nicola's hobbies include running, eating, drinking, more drinking and she has previously played netball for the county.

2nd Horn

Tracey Phillips

Tracey started her Brass Banding with her sister  in Hayle Band, who were then under the Musical Director Chris Harris. She then went on to follow him here to Lanner Band where she has been ever since. Her main instrument is the cornet and has played on most stands, but being multi talanted she is now sucessfully mastering the Tenor Horn.  She did in her younger days (in her own words a lifetime ago)! play for Cornwall Youth. She likes it to be known that she is only 33 and her ambitions in life is to do as little as possible and make millions. Her favourite piece of music is 'All in an April evening' which she says takes her back to her youth.
