Solo Cornet – Morgan Phillips
Morgan aged 13 started to learn the Cornet with the academy in 2014 and joined CYBB in 2018. He also plays the piano and enjoyed a spell on percussion in 2019 when he damaged his lip falling off his bike !
Morgan has passed his ABRSM grades 2,3,4 & 5 on cornet all with distinction and enjoyed his first contest with the band at the West of England Areas in March 2020. When not banding Morgan enjoys Sailing, Kayaking and Gig rowing , where he was selected to row for Cornwall U16 team in the National Gig County Championships in 2019.
