Silver Band turns Gold!
The Lanner and District Silver Band celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in style at a dinner and dance and awards ceremony at the Merchants Manor Hotel in Falmouth on Saturday 11th April 2015.
Of the 125 people who attended, there were past and present players, committee members and supporters.
The band’s 50 year history was laid out in a “This is Your Life” style look back at the band’s very beginnings in a chicken shed in 1965 through to the current day in our prestigious new surroundings.
