1st Trombone

Richard Johns

Richard joined the band in September 2006. His previous banding experiences include Illogan Sparnon and St Stythians bands. Unfortunately, he is still waiting for his most memorable banding moment. By day, Richard is a qualified electrical engineer. Richard's favourite piece is "I'll Walk with God". During his spare time he enjoys playing golf, restoring cars, socialising and surfing.

Gareth Cottrell

Gareth joined the band in 2006, following time playing with Falmouth Town, Stythians and Camborne Town Bands. His most memorable banding moment was playing in the National Finals at the Albert Hall in London. His favourite piece of music is "Jazz "by Philip Wilby. During his spare time Gareth enjoys shotgun shooting and playing golf. At present, Gareth is studying for his masters degree (Looks like Gareth is a very busy chap). In the future Gareth plans to retire.
