Tuned/Timpani – Max Wall
Max started playing Cornet at 8 years old in 1964 with a local Brass Band in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Throughout life has played with several Royal Naval Military Bands, Jazz Bands, Big Bands and Orchestras. Has entertained HM The Queen and other members of the Royal Family. Played at the Royal Tournament in Earls Court and travelled from Gibraltar to Morocco to represent the RN at a French Embassy Remembrance Ceremony playing the Bugle. Max started playing Percussion 18 months ago and is enjoying the new challenge. He joined Lanner and District Silver Band in 2007.
